Sadly I’ve gotten to S4E15 and I think I’m done. I’m not really interested in the other storylines (except maybe Lagertha) and couldn’t t care less about the sons (except maybe Björn?)

ok so I’m going to write an athelnar biker ragnar/former youth pastor newly anointed priest athelstan modern au and I’m aware a biker au already exists on ao3 but I haven’t read it and I also dont watch the show so I’m sure it’s going to be very different by nature of that fact alone

but I just have this scene in my head of them tucked in the corner of some rednecky biker bar like pressed together super intimately and athelstan can see people’s eyes on them when ragnar dips his head to kiss at his throat but…….. behind the warm thick wall that is ragnar he feels safe and he lets his eyes drift shut again

like everything else before and after is just an excuse to have that exact moment
