Alternate Universes Under Our Noses
I always think very literally when I see a business named “Toyland” or “Burger King” or “Tire World” - things like that. In the example of Burger King I imagine a kingdom of hamburgers with some burger being the king, others being shop owners, janitors, doctors, construction works etc. etc. . I think about whether they would have a congress or if it would be a dictatorship etc. I also wonder if size matters. Would the Whopper or The Big Mac be the king? Would they perhaps be in different political parties and run against each other? I think that if size matters then it would suck to be a Cozy Inn or White Castle burger. You’re definitely from the wrong side of the tracks, dudes!
