It was rare that Angela allowed herself the time to indulge in leisure reading; most often, she buried her head in educational texts, forever attempting to improve her knowledge of this strange world and the words from which others had arrived. And she knew better than most that relaxing now and again was just as important as saving lives, even if she would always be a workaholic of sorts. Here in this store for used books, she browsed the shelves with a critical eye, not quite sure what she would end up bringing home.

“Excuse me — I was wondering if you might have any book recommendations? It’s been so long since I’ve read for pleasure, I’m not sure where to start.” The stranger in question held a few texts within her hands, and so Angela could only assume she had a preferred genre.
