Do you know those weird breathy-coughy sounds babies make sometimes even if they're not sick? Those freak me the fuck out, I wonder how Griff would've reacted the first time hearing them

When he got her and took her home, he was extremely paranoid for the first few weeks-- Knowing sometimes Babies' bodies like to randomly kill themselves (/lh, joke) Was watching over her like a hawk and barely got any sleep because of it. He practically passed by life with the skin of his teeth having such an awful sleep schedule while raising her. Loves her to death, but she was an insanely hyper kid that felt like a test from god himself.

Any sort of complication when she was very young always sent him spiraling, checking his pulse every so often when she got better just to make sure he's alive, lmfao

I can imagine your Byron having his back and wherever else he has scales going into shed. He's trying to scratch because itchy but it's hard to reach so he has to beg his partners to help but he's embarrassed about it....

I would do the same if I were in his position. Although if I remember correctly-- (@/snaildotcom is my long time bestie that usually helps with these kind of hcs so I'm going off what they have said ^__^) --Byron really hates having his back touched or any part of the scales touched. From their words, the scales are the equilvalent to painful acne since some of them have become ingrown bc of constantly trying to pull them out and scarring his back. To the point where even falling onto his back feels like he just got a bone broken (hyperbole but its painful)

Eventually he does get comfortable with having his back touched by his partners, but they try their best not to irritate it too much, so usually rubbing and massaging the area around the scales could be some use for him. Though they're usually careful with not bringing too much attention to his scales if it's not necessary... He's really insecure about his mutations. And Speaking of baths-- Mortis is heavily aware of his mutations and has studied him and the park for a loooong long time. To a point where he even had to make his own medicinal bath mix to help soothe his body from the harsh scarring of the scales. + Smells like flora too, comes out of the bath feeling refreshed and clean.

Not alot of Information besides they're normal. Although alot more dense in order to withstand breaking skin with duller fangs.

Although since we're on the topic of mouths...She does have a biting problem. It often causes the inside of her cheeks to be ripped up from biting the insides, or chewing at the pillows on her bed-- To even biting/nipping at her partners.

I would imagine after a while yea. Really refused anyone to acknowledge it, but the more comfortable he became they both were allowed to touch it.
