He’s been gone for years

But so have you. The scent of his mint gum and cigarettes in the jacket you stole faded away a long time ago.

Someone introduces him to a podcast, laying in his bed at night, staring at the glow-in-the-dark stars on his ceiling, it makes him start to feel like a person again.

Making the podcast makes you feel like a person again too.

Neither of you know you’re less than ten miles apart, staring at your own star strewn ceilings, connected by a voice in the ether he no longer recognizes.

I thought it was interesting and kinda fun that I’m working on Caro’s story via The Mil-Liminal Podcast, and Sully’s story, Creaky (a graphic novel), at the same time, both are stories about life going on without each other, coming of age, and learning to exist around grief and loss. They have no idea how close they still are.

Oh my gods. The moment he laughed and I wondered if it could possibly be Michael or whether I'm just imagining things. But then she actually adressed him as Michael (although to be fair, Michael seems to be a common name in tma) and I flipped out for a second. Because is that what happens to all the archival assistants? Either get murdered by a creature associated to one of the entities or become one themselves?

And on an unrelated note, is Gerturde seriously changing her voice to a more "old woman" voice to appear more senile than she actually is??

It’s officially my 4th year in Sydney. And the sights below hold true on every single commute: 1. We treasure our personal distance, creating them without even having to think about it. 2. When we can’t achieve that physical distancing, we turn to our devices, for good or bad, you decide. 3. We stick to what we know, and we feel safe in a group (even encourages us to carve out that private space in public). People watching is always fun, especially when you see patterns emerge.
