I'm sorry, I still can't believe that when I simply expressed frustration about cultural appropriation, I was a HATER. I was labeled a RACIST. Suddenly, it's okay for non-black people to wear grillz, bonnets, etc. When other black people pointed things out, they were labeled the KKK, etc. And now that the chickens have finally come home to roost, we have "black people" once again acting like this is some type of campaign to "fuel Asian hate".

I'm curious to see how other people write.

Like, okay, for example. A lot of times, I'll draft out a chapter with notes of vague scene ideas to lay things out that usually looks something like this:

Then when I go to write out the scene, I'll just start writing what I can. Where I maybe don't have an idea of how I want to write something just yet, I'll leave a note for myself like this:

After that, I'll go back and flush things out, rewrite things, whatever. Make it, you know, readable. I don't always do each scene in order, either. I try to do a chapter at a time (though I'll make vague notes and timelines for later chapters to keep somewhat organized) but I'll bounce around within the chapter. That way I can still get some work done without being stuck to one particular part where maybe I don't have the inspiration for and can't get past.

Does anyone else do things like this? Or do y'all not have ADHD and just kind of, write chronologically and in a way that is less chaotic?

I kinda have been meaning to ask this for weeks, but really I don't get enough time, but anyway!

Do you like any of the less known/used dragons in HTTYD? And I mean really less known or used, as in they're so underrated they barely get screen time or only exist in the games (like the one you mentioned in your fic, the Tideglider), like the Shovelhelms, or Thornridges, Woolly Howls (personal favorite of mine)? Sand Wraiths?

There's so many the list could go on, especially if we bring the comics to this lol

Agh I have way too many I like. There are just so many cool dragons out there!

Most of my dragon knowledge outside of the main bits of media are the games and the books though, so I can't really comment on any of the comic book ones, sorry about that! D:

I think my favorite in terms of design are Silver Phantoms. I just think they are some of the coolest looking dragons in the entire franchise. Foreverwings are also one of my favorite designs.

In terms of abilities... the Sweet Death is just so cool and freaky, and I really wish we got an episode about them. Sand Wraiths are also just sick in terms of their design and abilities. Those ones are close to being one of my all time favorites!

I...might be forgetting some but I think overall the Tideglider, the Sword Stealer, Woolly Howls, and Silver Phantoms are my top obscure dragon species. I honestly haven't come across any dragon species that I don't like though, especially in the games!! They are all just so unique and fascinating to me!! :D
