Is there such a thing as watching too many BLs?

I used to enjoy picking out the subtle symbolism in BLs, I would immerse myself in the actors' emotions but now I'm just numb when I watch BLs.

I do not enjoy the actors' performance or the stories anymore.

Help.

I think you can OD on anything.

Take a break.

I've always been a cold turkey advocate.

Watch something else for a while. BL will always be there for you if you need it. Probably more than you need, these days.

Or go back to reading, writing, listening to music, art... something completely different for a while.

Your hobby shouldn't become your obligation. If you are doing this for fun, it should bring you joy. If it stops bringing you joy, stop doing it.

I give you permission (if you need it) to stay part of this fandom and hang out here even if you aren't keeping up with the latest pack of BL offerings.

1) How did Guy and Rapunzel meet? She stole his horse. WELL, rather she borrowed his horse trying to catch up to some bandits who had tried to steal her horse, Fidella. So imagine Guy, there’s some evil horse bandits on the lose and here she is, just blatantly riding off with his horse. Today hasn’t been easy. Just trying to digest some of the things I’ve heard.
