What if Johnny had blood stains on his jeans jacket before that Mrs. Curtis was able to wash out or at least make less noticeable but then when he gets jumped by Bob and the other Socs he can’t give his jacket to Mrs. Curtis because she’s dead and he either doesn’t want to bother Darry with it or Darry tries and can’t get the stain out
