Thank you, dear @monedula-immanis, for passing me the “5 interesting facts about yourself” challenge! 🌷🥰 Although this turned out to be quite a difficult task 😅 I’m not entirely sure how interesting the following facts really are, but oh well — nothing ventured, nothing gained:
1. I drink ice-cold water. The colder, the better. And no, my throat is perfectly fine, ahaha 😄;
2. Since childhood, I’ve had three scars on my face: one on my cheek, one on my lower lip, and one above my upper lip.
I was warned not to bother sleeping dogs, but I ignored that rule — and our dog bit me in the face. It sounds scary, but actually everything ended well. I was stitched up quickly and neatly, the scars don’t ruin my appearance, and I’ve never felt insecure about them.
After that, our dog seemed very upset for a long time: he barely ate, lay near my bed, and was afraid to come closer.
Of course, I’m not romanticizing injuries with this story, and I wouldn’t wish such an experience on anyone. But I guess what I want to say is that even painful and unpleasant events are not the end of the world;
3. Out of my 28 years of life, I've been a vegetarian for 16 years now🌿;
4. I once cooked and tasted fly agaric mushrooms 🧙 In Georgia, there grows a delicacy called the Caesar’s mushroom (lat. Amanita caesarea), also known as Caesar’s fly agaric. It’s even safe to eat raw;
5. Funny coincidences. I was born on September 8, but according to the Julian calendar — on August 26. That happens to be the birthday of my beloved.

Спасибо, дорогая @monedula-immanis , за передачу эстафеты “5 интересных фактов о себе”!🌷🥰 Хотя это оказалась совсем нелёгкая задачка😅 сомневаюсь о степени занимательности ниженаписанного, но попытка не пытка:
1. Пью ледяную воду. Чем холоднее, тем лучше. Нет, моё горло в порядке, ахаха😄;
2. С детства у меня есть три шрама на лице: на щеке, на нижней губе и над верхней. Меня предупреждали, что не стоит лезть к спящим собакам, но я пренебрегла этим правилом — и наш пёс укусил меня в лицо. Звучит страшно, но на самом деле всё закончилось хорошо. Меня быстро и аккуратно зашили, шрамы не портят внешность, и я никогда из-за них не комплексовала. Наш пёс потом долго ходил подавленный: почти не ел, лежал у моей кровати и боялся подойти. Конечно, этой историей я не романтизирую травмы и никому не желаю пережить подобное. Но, наверное, хочу сказать, что даже неприятные и болезненные события — это не конец света;
3. Из 28 лет жизни 16 лет являюсь вегетарианкой🌿;
4. Готовила и пробовала мухоморы🧙 В Грузии растет деликатес — цезарский гриб (лат. Amanita caesarea) или кесарев мухомор. Его можно есть даже в сыром виде;
5. Забавные совпадения. Я родилась 8 сентября, а по юлианскому календарю — 26 августа. Это день рождения моего любимого человека.

Thank you @noseysilverfox for sending me this post so I could join in... this is harder than I thought it would be because there are many things I could share here, but are they interesting... that is the question... I guess we're about to find out, huh? 😁🤣🤣
1. I love all kinds of music except smooth jazz. My two favorites are classic rock and classic country... I know the lyrics to most every song I've ever heard, but I do not know the lyrics to most of Jimi Hendrix' songs. That's weird because Jimi is my favorite musician of all time and his music is my favorite music ever. I can, however, sing every note he's ever played...
2. I am an only child who was raised by my grandma. I am a twin, but my brother didn't make it to birth. He did, however, leave all sorts of hormones and things behind with me, which make me a well balanced combination of male and female. I think that's one reason why I get along with all genders so well.
3. I love to dance and I was President of the Penn State Disco Club in 1978. It was a lot of fun. I didn't dance disco, but they needed a president, and I thought it would be fun to learn to dance like that l, and it was!! We all got pretty good at it.
4. In college, I became the Upside-down Margarita Queen of Belfonte,PA. I was a bartender, and back then, we could drink with the customers. To drink an Upside-down Margarita, you have one person put their head down on the bar, with their mouth wide open, and you pour the ingredients for a Margarita into their mouth. Then, they sit up, close their mouth, shake their head, and swallow. I'd pour one, and they would say, let me buy you a drink, and I'd put my head on the bar, and they'd pour me one. It was a lot of fun. The coolest thing about that title is that my real middle name is Margarita!!! It was a very fitting title for me!!
5. As a bartender, I got many titles and became well known for many things. One of the wierdest things I'm still known for is my skills at Trivial Pursuit and the answers that I gave to the questions. In Oak Harbor, at the Porthole, I used to bring the game to work, and we'd play while I tended bar. One day it got busy while we were playing, and the bar was full. It was my turn so they rolled the dice for me. It landed on my favorite category, science and nature. The question was... what is a diphallicterata... so I thought about it and disected the word. I'm a total nerd, and I love words and their derivations. I thought about it for a second and answered. Right at that moment, the bar got very quiet. I said it's a guy with two dicks. The bar got even quieter... they flipped the card and gasped because I got the answer right!! The place went wild because I knew what that was, and they were freaked out a bit that it was a real thing!!! For years after that, I'd be somewhere and someone would say, you're the girl who knows what you call a guy with two dicks!!! It was hilarious and a bit embarrassing, especially when it happened in front of my 5 year old son. It, actually, happened the other day. 🤭🤭🤣 That knowledge of word derivations came in very handy that day and really helped me get great scores on the SATs.
Well, there you go. I don't know if that's interesting, but now you know a little more about me 😁🤭🤣❤️🫂🌈🕊🌷💫✨️
