I worked SO hard today and the reward is that I am almost done!!!!! four students are now in final review, one other student is already done with review, and one other student waived review so I don’t have to do anything else for now. the baby was a little angel child today and took FOUR decently long naps so I could get stuff done. and then in between he was so happy. this kid loves to sleep and then all that sleep puts him in such a good mood when he’s awake. a virtuous cycle I did absolutely nothing to earn lol but I will take it and thank god for it every single day!!! I also set up another tutoring client for 2x/wk sessions for the foreseeable future which will be so nice to have as a reliable source of income when college season is over. and I ran the numbers and I think I probably need to take on three new students for november to january if I want to break evenish and not have to dip into savings too much. or I could take on two but dip into savings a little bit more (which just means having to tutor more during the year). three seems manageable?? we shall see.
Chicken coop building has resumed. We are hanging the walls today!
Yesterday was solely devoted to mowing the lawn. What was supposed to take a couple of hours turned into an all day project. I hit a hidden stump and bent the guard on the mower deck. It kept dragging on the ground afterwards, so Hubs and I took it to the shop and jacked it up with the intention of removing the guard. And then we realized it has a removable deck..
So I bought blades, dropped the deck, swapped the blades, banged the guard back in place, replaced the deck and finished mowing.
Oh, how satisfying!
what are y’a plans for new years
Albanian shit, home w family and giving each other presents then tomorrow starting off planning for 2021 things I want to do every month like I usually do. And then work lol.
