Day 11 of #gettoknowme is #alwaysanartist 🖤 . Before Steve learned he had a hidden talent in hand embroidery, he's always been a different type of artist - a song writer and guitarist. He's been playing music for 20+ years and is currently in four(!) bands (seen here at Targ with @joncreeden ). . I was ready to say I didn't find my inner-artist until Sadie & June was born - but the truth is I just found a new way to be creative that didn't make me anxiety-ridden like acting did. (Swipe to see a photo of me in a zombie movie from 5 yrs ago!). . I started making gifts once I came to Canada as a necessity (no income while I waited to become a Canadian permanent resident) and I fell in love with crafting as a hobby until I came up with an idea I felt confident enough to build a business around. .
