hc for Carlos Madrigal x Eleanor Bluefairy-Carmelo of Llyr ??
Eleanor Belmagio-Carmelo of Llyr and Carlos Madrigal Prepon met during their third week at Auradon Prep.
Carlos is the spitting image of his father while Eleanor is a mix of her parents—with her blonde hair being darker than her mother's but lighter than her father's and her blue eyes being lighter than her mother's.
Carlos is thirteen and Eleanor is fourteen when they meet.
They met in the library—Carlos was being a nussiance and annoying his older sister, Sofia, when Eleanor got frustated and confronted him because she was TRYING to study for the first test of the school year and he was stressing her out.
Eleanor ended up storming out of the library in a tizzy because of it.
Carlos felt so bad that he had his sister slip some noise cancelling earbuds under her door with a note apologizing.
They became friends afterwards.
Eleanor is a member of Belle’s Book Club and the Art Club at Auradon Prep while Carlos is a member of the Drama Club, Film Club, and School Newspaper— for which he writes the Gossip column.
Carlos wants to be a script writer and film director when he grows up, meanwhile, Eleanor wants to be a famous artist.
Eleanor will not hesitate to fullname Carlos if he's pushing her buttons a little too much or if he's being too much of a nussiance to someone else.
"Carlos Manuel Madrigal Prepon, will you knock it off!"
"Do you have to pull out the middle name? That's uncalled for."
Carlos has been described as nosey, angry, defensive, jerky, emo, dishonest, moody, bratty, impulsive, messy, lazy, sneaky, and a bit of a con artist. Eleanor, if asked however, would describe him as wild, chaotic, snarky, sarcastic, playful, helpful, thrill seeking, daring, intuitive, curious, creative, and street smart.
Carlos has the gift of mimicry, which Eleanor finds fascinating. Which was a pleasant surprise for Carlos since most people just find his gift boring when compared to his family's gifts.
Eleanor's friends get along well with Carlos and vice versa. The same can be said for Carlos' friends and Eleanor.
Eleanor has been described as well-behaved, nerdy, introverted, smart, stuffy, classy, stubborn, mindful, dutiful, and modest. Carlos, if he had to describe her, would describe her as sneaky, mischievous, imaginative, and playful.
Carlos finds Eleanor's wings beautiful and finds them fascinating.
Sometimes, Eleanor takes Carlos flying…she's dropped him only a couple of times.
Carlos often sits with Eleanor while she practices her magic: he usually takes this time to reread the latest draft he's working on before he submits it for approval.
Alma approves of Eleanor and Carlos’ relationship but she does often worry about the likelihood of it lasting, mostly due to how different she and Carlos are: they don't seem very compatible on the surface. Alma, of course, doesn't know about how sneaky and mischievous the blonde can be.
If Alma did, she'd likely have fewer worries about their compatibility and more worries about the chaos the two of them could cause if left unsupervised.
All Alma knows is that Eleanor is a hardworking, studious, graceful, respectful princess who has been entrusted to inherit her parents’ thrown and that she often has to reel her friends and Carlos back from trouble.
Alma's approval doesn't go away with time, unlike the illusion of Eleanor being an innocent goody two shoes who's never done anything wrong in her life ever.
Eleanor attends Carlos' shows when she's able to and her commentary afterwards always has Carlos dying with laughter.
She also reads his columns in the school paper though she doesn't admit that for a long time.
Eleanor goes on to major in art and economics while Carlos majors in film history and journalism.
Eleanor attends M.I.T (Magical Institute Training) while Carlos opts for going to school somewhere in Wonderland—mostly for the chaos.
Carlos has a few amateur films up on the internet when he grows up while Eleanor focuses on running her mother's kingdom—though she does become a semi-well known artist in Auradon.
On April Fools Day, they have a major prank war for Carlos' birthday. He loves it.
Both of them were present on campus when the Queen of Mean Incident happened.
Carlos was fine—he wasn’t even aware anything was going on at all, in fact. He had been cooped up in his dorm room writing a paper about the summer school gossip when cursed and had been under the impression that he’d just had a long nap after dying his own hair partially red until his very frantic family showed up.
He was very pouty about missing it—kinda like how Camilo was after the family got the full story of what happened during the events of Encanto.
Eleanor, on the other hand, had stopped in because her friend needed some tutoring and ended up live streaming the event,
Carlos's favorite band if anyone asks is ‘The Donkey-ettes’ since Eleanor is a part of it—his favorite song of theirs is ‘Song Of Stars’.
The two of them get WAY too competitve when playing 'Go-Go Ballroom Dancing'. They're even worse when playing dodgeball.
Eleanor follows Carlos on InstaRoyal, Royallr, and several other social media sites and vice versa.
The two of them spend a lot of time at 'Mad for Tea' when they have time to travel off campus.
Monthly Sundae Night at Auradon Prep is their shit.
They started dating shortly before the summer of the Queen of Mean Incident.
Carlos fell in love with Eleanor after realizing how sneaky she was after she somehow fooled one of their teachers into thinking that she hadn’t taken part in a prank that she most certainly had.
Eleanor, on the other hand, fell for Carlos when she realized just how smart and sweet he can be when he wants to be.
The two of them make each other a lot of gifts.
Eleanor and Carlos often do artsy things like painting and drawing together, and will occasionally pull pranks with one another.
Eleanor also helps Carlos study for the classes he struggles with.
Carlos’s pet names for Eleanor are Ellie, Stealthy, and Ice Princess.
Alexander (Eleanor's father) likes Carlos: he reminds him of Lampwick when he was a kid. Eilonwy, on the other hand, likes Carlos well enough but has some concerns about how seriously he'll be able to take his future duties as king.
Carlos, during his first week at Auradon Prep, somehow managed to fill up Mr. Deley’s rooms with balloons. I'm not talking just on the floor, either—the entire classroom not to mention Mr. Deley’s bedroom at the school was filled up with balloons. Floor to ceiling. He managed this not once but three times—one of which happened while he was in detention.
Eleanor laughed so hard she passed out when she found out that it was Carlos who did that.
He returned the favor when he found out it was HER who vandalized king Beast's potrait in the school.
Carlos, while being new to dating, is doing rather okay so far. He's spent part of his allowance on getting Eleanor flowers from Sherwood's Floral and she liked that so he figures he's just going to keep doing that.
He and Eleanor end up getting matching his and hers tattoos on Carlos's 18th birthday.
Eleanor, for the life of her, cannot stop herself from laughing when Carloa]s curses someone out—it's not her fault! He's just so creative and funny with it.
Carlos is taller than the blonde by 2 inches.
They've gotten into a clay and paint fight. More than once.
Their ship name is either Blue Mimic, Elenos, or Elos.
Carlos' parrot, Mellizo, likes Eleanor a suprising amount. Her owl, Fruitdrop, on the other hand took awhile to warm up to Carlos and his parrot.
Carlos has a picture of Eleanor in his room at Castia.
Eleanor thinks it's sweet that he calls Castia 'Tia Castia'.
This was originally made on good friday (more like BAD friday lol), but I'm just posting it now because I added a few things. Don't worry, I'm feeling better.
Btw, the black hoodie I'm wearing in this doodle really has those stains irl; they're oil paint stains, and they don't come off, I've already tried a lot. Last year there were two occasions in which someone on the street mistook me for a homeless person while wearing that hoodie ;-;
