Entry Three

March 1916:

The training here is extensive. There's been talk about the date of which we are to travel to the battle field. It must be soon. The first fire is set to be in some time during August. Now that I think about it, if we leave now, we may be slightly early. Better earlier though, I'd say. Give us time to know the place a bit better. 

The trenches this time of year is ghastly. There's mud from the slight perspiration of the season and it has started to make into my boots. It's cold now. Rat seems like a welcome warmth.

Hey girl! I wanted to share a passage of Scripture with you Totally random but I thought you would like to hear it haha^

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. But let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer or as a meddler. Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name. - 1 Peter 12:19

I pray that whatever trial you are going through right now, remember that God is the same past, present and future. His love never changes just because of our circumstance. He didn't ask for us to be perfect but to be honest don't be afraid to become vulnerable in front of our Father. He knows everything about us after all. Stay strong sister! I miss you VERYYY much

The great thing is, once God makes a decision about you, it can't be undone! ^^ when you are saved, that's it. You are delivered and God never forgets you
