Its hard to believe that it’s been a year since we lost Carrie (tomorrow for Debbie) She taught me from a young age that I don’t need rescuing, that I can save myself. That has stuck with me for my entire life. Carrie was never afraid to be who she was and spoke out on her bipolar depression. It created a new normal that was much needed, speaking out on issues that were taboo to speak about in public.
