❛ Of course I’m going to be cool about it! Why wouldn’t I? Do you not trust me or something? ❜
alwaysrevvedup asked:
“ Is this absolutely necessary? ”
“Of course it is.. Do you think I would be doing something, if it wasn’t ABSOLUTELY necessary.”
📝 Is the muse cooperative or do they like to take the wheel when it comes to threads?
MUN VS. MUSE
「 -cue my hysterical, unwavering laughter-
yeah this bitch always does what he wants. 」
@alwaysrevvedup said: can’t i just blame everything on my dad and be done with it? @ the one and only karen wheeler
it would be easy to blame others, but she doesn’t like to teach her children ( or their friends ) to take the easy way out. sometimes it’s best to look at the issue deeper, and figure out where you yourself went wrong. while outside influences are definitely a factor in how a person turns out, it’s also in how you react to them that changes you as a person. she offers a smile to the teen, and shakes her head as she sets down a cool glass of iced tea. ❝ that’s one way to deal with things. but if you keep blaming others, you’ll never grow or mature. maybe take a look inside first before tossing out blame. ❞
Hidden Pictures Starters ! | “This is a very old neighborhood, Lydia. All these houses have some kind of horror story.” asked by @alwaysrevvedup
As they drove through the neighborhood on their way home from school in the later afternoon hours, Lydia's curious dark brown eyes roved over the many houses they passed to get to her own. Her house was tucked farther down the street in a more remote area, the perfect house for a couple that wanted both privacy and a place to start a family of their own one day, though those dreams never came true. Not only had they not been able to have children, but a horrible car accident prevented them from living any more dreams that they might have had. Then Charles Deetz scooped up the property and his wife carved the house to match her personality - attention seeking with nobody left impressed besides her own ego.
It left her to wonder just how many houses used to harbor innocent people living their perfectly ordinary lives until, unsuspectingly, it was taken away from them. She wondered if their ghosts had been left behind, too, tormented by a past they couldn't forget and a future they would never accomplish on this earth. For the medium, a gift she had inherited in her teenage years, it really did make her question her own mortality at times.
❝ Oh, yeah? What about that one? ❞ Lydia pointed out the window to a brick house with a slightly flickering porch light. The probability that it was just an electric issue was higher than it was that the house was actually haunted. As they passed the house beside it, she pointed to that one, too. ❝ Or that one? Do you think any of them are haunted? ❞ As monotone as she sounded, she was only having fun with him, something she knew he would pick up on without her having to crack a big smile to prove it.
“Sorry about that. I think I misread the moment. But if I talk long enough and fast enough we can just act like I didn’t happen, right?”

❝Dude - ❞ Brows FURROWED as he rambled on. She KNEW he had always been this annoying, but why was he picking NOW to let it manifest? He just HAD to go off and RUIN what could have been a NICE moment, huh? Of course. Typical. The blonde WATCHED for another second before allowing an easy smirk to CROSS her lips. It had started off as an EASY drug deal - a quick exchange between two people, but the conversation had lingered longer this time around. Tina figured she was ALLOWED to have a little fun with the OBVIOUSLY flustered boy. ❝Tell me, what EXACTLY did you think was gonna happen here, huh?❞ A single brow ARCHED upwards, and her smirk grew. ❝Did you think we were having a MOMENT?❞

navigating her new normal was more than a little frustrating, especially with the crappy government issued wheelchair she'd left the hospital with, the damn thing had a mind of its on at the best of times, but trying to navigate through the trailer park terrain was a nightmare, and she spots eddie staring which only pisses her off even more, "take a picture it'll last longer munson! or better help me, unless you get a kick outta watching girls get stuck on overgrown grass." she barks at him, eyes rolling, but honestly? part of her just wanted a little company, and she was too stubborn to just say that. her mom was at work, and she hadn't heard from the boys today, okay so maybe she'd told them to fuck off last night and that was why.
"where's steve today?" she grins goading him for a reaction, oh she noticed how the two of them had been hanging out more since they'd almost both died, how steve checked up on her almost daily, and how she'd watch him slip across to the munson trailer after. "how are you not like, dying of boredum dude? i've read like every book in my trailer, i miss the arcade. too far wheel myself there in this piece of shit." she huffs, "you have van right? --" eyes lighting up as her genius plan hits.
