Despite the snap in Damian's tone, Dick only smiled. "I was impatient too when I was your age." He teased through the door, knowing how much Damian hated being reminded that he was still young despite his skill and training, and yet unable to resist.

He twisted in the unfamiliar suit, trying to keep himself from grimacing at the restriction it forced on him. He kept telling himself he'd get used to it but the simple fact was that this suit was too firm, too armored, too unforgiving. This suit didn't fit. 

Or perhaps it was the legacy that didn't fit, his doubt whispered to him. 

Damian was waiting and he forced himself out, forced a smile to his face to match the lightness of his tease so they could leave, Batman and Robin but this time he wasn't the one in eye-catching primary colors. "Well come on we don't have all day." Again he just can't resist tempting Damian's temper with a laugh as he makes his way to the Batmobile.

Of all the questions his son has ever asked him this was proving to be one of the more difficult to answer, not that he never given it any thought before though, While being called 'Father' was sufficient he'd much rather be the boy's dad. But how does he go about explaining the difference between the two?

Catalyst had spent the last five days gathering new and rare items for his beloved. Placing them among his field of flowers, his character does a speedy run through the island to pick up any weeds or branches. It had to be nice for Anole visit and he had gone all out ensuring the island was perfect- heck he'd even found Anole The Frog Chair which had two lights beaming down upon it.
