By color, author, genre, complete chaos… How do you arrange your bookshelves?
They're not very organized, to be honest! For the most part, they're organized by genre/type--e.g. my nonfiction books are grouped together, writing reference books are grouped within that, and so on. Fiction books are roughly grouped by author and genre (e.g. I have an entire shelf of Jim Butcher books!). I have numerous bookshelves, so the big one in my bedroom holds all the books I read the most, then another holds books I read rarely but hold sentimental value, the one in the living room holds books I don’t care all that much about but want to hang onto for one reason or another... this wasn't really a deliberate organization, just how I unpacked things when I moved into my current apartment!

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever googled for book research?
Not for my own book, but for someone else, I once did research into the nutritional content of human feces. (so you don’t have to do the same: there is practically none)
