Violet Vineyard Pride Event// Indigo- Harmony
Excerpt- Adire Ọkàn isokan (Chronicles of Alyria)
The lady smiled up at Ava of them, “We call her Adire, the Goddess of harmony, full title Is Adire Ọkàn isokan. She is the keeper of harmony and togetherness she is the reason cities are formed, the reason birds flock together, without her the world will never know peace and the sky would fall just to spite the sea,” Ava watched the old lady pull at a piece of looses thread from the fabric she was weaving, it was the same fabric hanging off the wall of the shrine.
“Sometimes she is portrayed as a weaver, an elderly woman her feet are stained gray from walking on clay, her hands stained with indigo dye and callouses forming on her palm from pulling thread. That is the form most mortals see her as but she still remains our goddess,” Ava nods and watches the lady complete the fabric and hand it over to her she took the cloth in her hand and sighed. the cloth was rough but strangely comforting as she held onto it and looked up at the lady and gasped. smiling at her was a gorgeous women with Dark skin, her right her right eye a deep blue with specks of indigo surrounding it and her head was wrapped with an indigo and white fabric.
“Adire is with you my dear,” she said with a smile, “and Harmony will guide you always as long as you accept,” Ava felt a single tear roll down her cheek before she laughed and reached out to give the goddess a hug. for the first time in a while Ava felt at peace.
