just occurred to me that ormund if the Outlier brunette of his family since both his first cousins (gwayne and alicent) are redheads and so is daeron. i don’t know if this is confirmation that lady alyrie florent was a redhead but i’m taking it.

I find it interesting how both Rhaenyra and Alicent revert to wearing the colour of their mothers when they want comfort or go undercover - both House Arryn and Florent have blue in their coat of arms, and both Aemma and Alyrie have worn it.

Even more interesting to me is that Helaena wore blue at her coronation, and that now Aegon also walks around in a blue cape while in pain and hiding.

Queen Alicent Hightower with dresses from her mother Alyrie's house, House Florent. The first two, light blue in colour, may have been commissioned by Lady Alyrie for her daughter Alicent while Alyrie was still alive. The last two, in blue and light blue with flowers, may have belonged to Alyrie herself and been kept by her daughter Alicent (the blue dress did indeed belong to Alyrie).
