The long drive was finally over. Alpa was tired, but she just wanted this to be done with, so she continued to what looked like the middle of nowhere.
Pandora> Just a little further.
Alpa: *sarcastically* Past all the "Do Not Enter" and "No Trespassing" signs?
Pandora nodded, completely serious. Groaning and rolling her eyes, Alpa jumped over the gate, which was much easier than she expected.
Pandora> Keep walking and don't speak; a camera just saw you. Don't worry.
Alpa: .........
She kept going until she saw a rather ordinary looking house, although it reminded like a house from a movie where someone paranoid yet technilogically advanced would hole up to hide.
Pandora> That's actually a good description.
Alpa: Actually?
Before Alpa could finish being offended, a harsh voice crackled through a speaker.
???: Who are you?
Pandora> Answer truthfully.
Alpa: ...........................
Pandora> Alpa!! Answer her!!
Alpa: Who are you? Why should I talk to you?
The voice from the house paused, as if confused by her question.
???: You need to leave this property immediately. You are trespassing, and I can and will call the police!
Alpa: *groan* Look, I am tired, I am sick and tired of not getting answers from a voice in my head, and-
???: Voice in your head?
Alpa: I assume you know what a SQUIP is?
Alpa heard the click less than a second before she was almost blinded by the lights that turned on. When she could see, she continued her exhausted stare at the door.
Alpa: Don't get scared, I'm not here to make a scene, I just want answers. My SQUIP told me to come here.
She looked into the camera that she eventually found, waiting for a response.
The lights flashed again before causing the world to return to darkness. Although no one was watching, if there was, there would be no sign anyone had ever been at the door in the first place.
Alpa was gone.
