You know, when your wedding song was from a fairly popular movie - your absolute favorite one, btw - and then you get divorced, it can make hearing it hard. Not always. Like, you can still watch your favorite movie (I’ll be damned if a man is going to make me give up The Princess Bride) because you KNOW it’s coming. You know to expect the song in that circumstance, so it doesn’t bother you. You’re fine. It’s cool.

But when you DONT expect it to hear, like in an episode of This Is Us, it throws you. Majorly. Andddddd you’re kind of sat there in tears (for once not because of the damn show) because, even after almost 5 years of being divorced, it still stings when something that was so integral to your love story comes out of left field like that.
