BAILE INOLVIDABLE
it is unfortunate but jino has not been particularly well-versed in spanish — unless you include watching the super bowl halftime show which featured bad bunny — but jino didn’t think that meant much, nor were the constant replays of baile inolvidable or me porto bonito on his playlist. tapping his pencil along the table, he lazily looks over the notes he had taken during the workshop and was wondering just how much he would be able to successfully recite if ever prompted on the spot.
yea, languages were definitely not his strongest of suits.
“you don’t think we’ll have some sort of presentation at the end, right? like come up with a conversation in spanish and speak it without note cards?” he wonders aloud, looking from his notes to those of @cherrylgc who had sat beside him at the start of the lesson.
it was basically acting, reciting, memorization — all things jino could do but doing it proficiently without butchering the accent might take him another few weeks. he could hardly roll his r’s!
