My peaches!!

I'm so sorry I have not been on, I'm sorry I won't be on till later. My father in law who has spent the last year fighting his second round of cancer, had a stem cell transplant and now has a nasty case of pneumonia and is in the hospital. My mother in law as sweet as peach pie as she is, of course is staying with her husband even though she has a nasty cold herself. So my husband an I are heading in the snow to the hospital with soup and tea, so please be patient with me. When I'm home and unpacked I will post the next part to Baby Come Home, till than positive vibes for me and my family please and thank you peaches!!

Anyone else lay in bed staring at their ceiling thinking about all the things that have changed and wonder if the plane (you call life) you're on is going to crash and burn as well. I wish I had someone to break down and talk too. I'm far to ashamed to talk about my issues.

I started this blog because with my illness it doesn't leave me with really any friends, and the one I have is pretty wrapped up in her life which I don't blame her for or am upset with her for. I love her. I enjoy writing it's good for my ill mind to keep busy and it was also a way to be social. But when it comes down to it I still wish I had someone I could talk to, someone to just talk to about the things on my mind. I've hit a road block in my writing because I have so much on my mind I can't focus. Yeah yeah awe poor sick little Ama she has no friends. Pahhh I'm going to go do my laundry and be ashamed of myself for acting like this lol. Leave me requests pretty please they are greatly appreciated.

Day 6 - Favorite Fan Interaction - if you have ever met Ben. Or any interaction you’ve had with him on Twitter/Periscope/Reddit/etc.

Oh...well... the interaction on twitter, reddit, and that wizeo chat is always fun! I am always entertained by what he’s going to tweet me back if he gets to my tweet. And how he interacts with everyone--he’s sweet, even with the questions and comments that give me secondhand embarrassment!

I did get to meet Ben at the end of September 2012. The same day as I met Missy too--during filming for 402. When I met him, I was freaking out a little bit on the inside (he’s cute! and it’s BEN!), but I was able to keep my cool in front of him. He’s definitely not his character, and I think that’s a good thing. The girls I was with and I accidentally walked into him...we really weren’t paying attention bc we were so engrossed in our conversation. We didn’t notice Ben until we were standing in front of him and got quiet and then made the “oh my, it’s Ben! faces”!! He was laid-back and friendly--similar to his interactions online; I felt like he genuinely cared about me as a person (bc that’s his personality). He asked us questions and we asked him questions. He learned I was from Cleveland and got excited because his mom grew up in one of the suburbs, and we talked a bit about Cleveland things. He also made fun of my accent (apparently I draw my “a” sounds out..as Chels and Jo would say too) and guessed the nationality of my last name wrong. (thanks Ben ;) It was a cool experience and I never thought I would ever get the chance. And another funny thing: I saw him the day before on the streets of downtown Toronto (near where RB was filming) and I kept elbowing my friend Chels and she had no idea what I was doing bc I totally froze at having the ability to say anything to him. *hides*

Day 7 - Favorite Favorite acting moment as Andy McNally OR if you’ve had the pleasure of meeting her, tell us about it. What is Missy like. What did you enjoy most?

I had the pleasure of meeting Missy the end of September 2012, when she was filming RB 402. I honestly never thought I’d ever meet some of my favorite actors of my favorite tv show, but took the chance and got very lucky. I didn’t get star-struck meeting her either. I could sense she was a very down-to-earth woman and talking with her (with a small group of fans and other crew/cast) was like talking to a friend or a cool person to meet. I didn’t get to say too much to her, as I’m a quieter person, but I listened to what my RB friends were asking and talking about. She told us how she draws her gun (on the show) with her right hand (they all wear their guns on their right sides), left-handed in writing, and then she said she does use her right hand playing sports; so she’s actually ambidextrous! Missy is a sweetheart, a witty person, and I could sense she is an introvert (probably bc I am one too and can sense it in others). Plus, she’s only a few months younger than me and I can totally see her as someone who’d fit in with my rl friends and I. She’s just one of those friendly, silly people that you enjoy being around :))
