𝔈ven to the most unexpected of individuals, some would see a reflection of themselves in another.
Nighttime was something that was full of mystery despite it’s calm nature. As people around town would celebrate special occasions, others roam the streets, usually with a partner. However, in one alleyway leaning against the wall and nearby a streetlight, was an individual.
One that has kept his identity a secret since his arrival, being the adolescent, Saryuu himself.
To be fair, he had good reasoning to keep himself a secret. After all, it’s not like anyone else would mind his existence. Yeah, sure, he wasn’t like the others but the point stands that since his young age, Humans had left a bad impression on him.
In fact, he despises them..but why? Mostly to the fact that he was wronged, denied even. He was abandoned to the streets, therby forcing him to survive on his own without anyone giving him moral direction.
However overtime, bitterness overcame him and this ‘monster’ didn’t want moral direction, he had his own way. Just as the woman said, memories are jarring to the soul, especially when it reminds him of those emotional scars that is deep within his own psyche after those years.
Scars that would never go away.
Before long, Saryuu sighed as he closed his eyes for a bit before he mumbled some words under his breath before he crossed his arms, just waiting it out for a bit. Eventually, he reopened his eyes and looked up to the skies filled with stars in the heavens above. The brilliant thing about the nighttime that atleast he could take the time to enjoy the peaceful night.
“Atleast there’s something to look forward to.” he mumbled to himself.
However, it wasn’t long before he froze in place and lowered his head to look around the area, believe it or not, he could sense something coming in closeby..
