         PROBABLY ONE OF THE MOST exciting things about moving to the new city has been exploring all of the different shops and cafés.  it’s all so  DIFFERENT  from what she knows back home and,  while it’s slightly overwhelming at first,  hitoka is fascinated by all the new things.  it’s exciting to experience all the vastly different foods and drinks.  hitoka’s already becoming accustom to the different menus,  too!

     she’s stopped by a café near her apartments to pick something up for herself and her roommate.  it’s relatively quiet,  save for a few other occupants.  she notices one person in particular hanging about ─  it’s not the rabbit ears that strike her as weird  ( it looks like a headband,  hitoka presumes )  but rather the way he gazes at the menu,  almost with uncertainty.  

     hitoka wouldn’t normally feel good about approaching a stranger ─ it’s far too risky in most cases ─  but she can’t resist the urge to help in one of her favorite places!

     ❝ if you need any help deciding,  i can recommend some things!  this is one of my favorite places,  so far! ❞

      ❝   hey ,  you okay ?   ❞   it’s gracefully cutthroat ,  a honeyed affirmation that slinks back into a grin that’s yet to meet her eyes .  there’s an absence of sincerity ---- where priscilla doesn’t typically enjoy catering to the needless lilt others sluice over with coated empathy or of the other sorts .  though her sincerity is where it matters & it shows extraordinarily well in her poised ,  towering stance & in her velvety words that she chooses with finesse & finality ,  taken to her natural lethargic metronome .

Eto’s ear twitched in annoyanced. It seemed they did that now. The affairs of the past day was stressful, but now that she was calm enough she left Kaneki behind and struck out on her own. She had a theory on how she might get her body back, but it would be troublesome to test if such a nice boy like Kaneki were hanging around.

When she finally saw the tell tale sign of green hair, her ears raised. “Oi, you!” She said, looking about as annoyed as she would let herself display. “I don’t know how you stole my cute body but could you please be a dear and give it back?”

Her tone was nice, because she was showing restraint but on the inside she was sizing the other up. Her mind was already thinking, whether or not she would have to collect a lucky rabbit’s foot at the end of today. Even in a different body, her mind was as violent as ever.

    While Eve has higher empathy levels than she would like to admit (since it’s obvious that she tries to claim she has none whatsoever,) she’s certainly lacking in that department. While it was one of the things she would have ideally had much of, human empathy is anything but an easy task to artificially replicate in a robot.

    Even when she actually tries to understand the feelings of other people, she often has difficulty doing so unless she’s been in a very similar situation herself. And even then, she has difficulty understanding her own emotion, which all in all makes it a frustrating experience for her.

    In short, while she feels concern for others, she has a difficult time understanding their feelings or how to comfort them. She often finds herself at a loss for what to do, and can only awkwardly pat their head or say ‘I’m sorry.’

Headcanon: Steven can’t draw or paint and he’s not any better at Meep Morps (or physical art) but he still has a ton of fun doing it. He loves to express himself with his art, though he probably does it best, and prefers it best, through music.

His favourite kind of art to draw is more happy drawings, often strongly resembling that of a four-year-old who really loves his family. (Not a headcanon, but actually canon; he doesn’t draw noses or fingers on his people in his drawings.)

Also, he likes to go to the museum and contemplate art. And by contemplate, I mean, half-try to figure out the meaning of the piece and half-make up some weird, convoluted story about what’s going on inside or how it was made.
