Here, Amane holds Tsukasa tightly while Tsu simply relaxes... Caring Amane-nii. Tsukasa, too, can be equally proactive, it's just such a... moment from the past, when sounds fade and everyone is thinking about their own things. Tsukasa is thinking about the fireworks in the distance, and Amane is holding his brother's hand.
Happy yugicest day
These are literally their canonical crushes
Tsukasa in adidas and an apron is just 😭 did that anime series where he's wearing a bonnet make sense?
It actually reminds me of shop classes
I read the tale of the seven swan brothers in some semi-original and I was struck by the strength of the sister's fixation on saving the brothers and for some reason this frame seemed similar.... Amane wasn't even an excellent student, but he really learned the mechanisms and really managed to start the clock... and make a journey... perhaps he is looking at Tsukasa and again does not see Tsukasa, because he is already absorbed in work, focused, the idea awaits him ahead, he is hyperfixated-
Oh
When you constantly say how top/bottom position _shouldn't_ define the characters' personalities and be such a big deal, and then you have to support one option over the other because the other one mischaracterizes the characters so much that you have to fight it with its own means.
Stop making Hanako/Amane into innocent, fragile, and helpless angel, and Tsukasa into an evil yandere seducer, even if you love Tsumane specifically 😭 That's not how it works 😭 How many times does the plot have to show the brocon Amane, with his heavy thoughts and excessive secrets and tricks, and the sincere Tsukasa, for it to become clear that it doesn't work that way? 😭They're more complex than just the omega Hanako and alpha Tsukasa...Hanako only had to cry once to be written off only as a bottom in Yugicest. How much did the early scenes define the fandom's perception of them, when in fact, the dynamic is much deeper than this simple image. Amane is just as obsessed with Tsukasa (I beg you, he put all his time and energy into just saving his brother, the whole manga was literally leading up to this and in the last chapter it happened), Tsukasa is just as innocent and emotional, why does all yugicest content always have to be Tsumane and Tsukasa forcibly seducing poor, timid Amane? Some diversity? Equality? Come on
I've already said that Amatsuka gets undeservedly little attention,
💬 0 🔁 1 ❤️ 5 · By the way, we should talk more about Amatsuka. Firstly, Amane clearly has more wild strange feelings here, he's a brocon,
and now I'll say it again from a different angle.
The way in Yugicest fan content Tsukasa is always a cunning, skilled seducer, and Amane is a timid, silly omega. To me, this is out of the characters' personalities. Yes, there are canonically moments of Tsukasa's dominance, this is part of the Yugicest dynamic, Tsukasa is not so simple and loves to pester Amane, but we forget one important thing - Amane is no less a brocon, and is much more vulgar. Amane is much more sophisticated than the naive child Tsukasa, who sat in isolation while Hanako read dirty ecchi magazines on the near shore. He is canonically more interested in sex than Tsukasa. While Tsukasa asks about lemon kisses, Amane teases with porn. Tsukasa doesn't even talk about erotica, when in the Mirror Hell arc he asked "like in porn?" he obviously repeated the new phrase after Mitsuba, who actually owns it. We didn't see anything else concrete, except that he lifted Sakura's skirt, but he is a curious young boy, he could do it out of the same naive interest with which he gutted the fish.
Tsukasa is often presented as a sadistic sexual terrorist, and although I really like all of this, he is incredibly attractive and gigachaddish, it is still not entirely true. Amane is more experienced than Tsukasa in many things, more versed, he worries about brother a lot and desperately denies his incestuous gay crush. Tsukasa is canonically often the bottom. Power or not, but still it happens. Please pay more attention to the brocon Amane-nii-chan.
There is one situation where I do perceive dubcon from Tsukasa. It is my headcanon that the hole demon corrupted him when he was imprisoned in Hanako's boundary and since then Tsukasa perceives sex as a means of raising the mood, expressing affection and "playing" because he perceived it as a game from the Kokujodai. The hole demon, in turn, considers sex something ordinary, perhaps this is connected with ancient pagan rituals, you know what I mean, and she simply used this to raise Tsukasa's mood. So he is incredibly liberated in this regard, but it is more of a naive simplicity than a cunning, sly desire to subjugate someone. Of course, Tsukasa often violates other people's personal boundaries, and he is much more conscious than he seems, but still, he is too complex as a character to be reduced to one trait.
A compilation of moments of Amane-nii caring for Tsukasa so that people remember what it's like.
Here, by the way, it seems like Tsukasa is being so yassi sly again, but look at Amane, it looks more like a mafia boss with a girl on his shoulder, lol
Go, amatsuka, go
Volume 7 is a Valentine's volume because it is pink, has a heart theme, and contains a lot of relationships (ignore that it came out in the summer)
