Preparing for Reiki Attunement
1. Eat healthy light meals, preferably mostly plant-based for 3-7 days prior.
2. Drink a lot of water.
3. Minimize coffee & caffeine drinks.
4. Drink no alcohol.
5. Avoid sugar.
6. Cut back on smoking, and avoid it the day of.
7. Meditate daily in a way you are familiar with.
8. Avoid the media.
9. Go for quiet walks, spend time with nature, exercise.
10. Be aware of the subtle impressions and sensations within and around. Question their meanings.
11. Release all anger, fear, jealousy, hate, worry and negativity up to the light. Surrender them to the Source. Create a sacred space within and around you.
You will become part of a group of people who use reiki to heal themselves and the world. You will receive help from reiki guides and spiritual beings who are also working towards these goals. Reiki is not a religion. You may prepare your mind with intention work and pray however you usually do. Prepare to open to higher spiritual energies and experiences.
