@ma-sulevin I feel like it would be something he’d dedicate his life as a father to preventing. He knows his time in the Templars made him who he is, which was a gift and a curse in too rapid an order to parse out. He’d never want that for his children.

Of course, if they were absolutely dead set on it, he’d stand by them. If they came back with PTSD, he’d be there for them every step of the way, holding their hands in recovery. Because that’s just the kind of man he is. The kind of dad he is.

The “my penis/vagina can fix all your problems” trope. Like…rrrgh. It is wonderful to have a partner in life and to find that person who makes you feel like the best version of yourself. I feel lucky enough to have found that. But the best version of yourself will still have problems. We are human.

And even if you could, would you want to? Would they want you to? We need our flaws not to be “tranquil” little Barbies and Kens running around with perfect little lives and perfect little houses and perfect little bodies. Aggghhhh! What a boring life it would be with no flaws.

Okay. So I’m a sucker for two things: meet-cutes and happy endings. If you write an adorable or crazy meet-cute and/or a sweeping, lovely, mushy, fluffy happy ending, I will straight up melt. This is not to say that a downer ending is bad. Downer endings are part of life, and sometimes they’re necessary for the good of the story. But a happy ending will have me eating out of the palm of your hand.

Kaor, a thought occurred to me and I was really interested in bouncing it off someone. In my world state, Alistair is king. Which made me wonder, if all the Warden's up and left because they thought The Calling was happening. What do you think was happening with Alistair as all this went on?! I can't believe we didn't hear anything about the KING OF FERELDEN, EX-WARDEN freaking out about PROBABLY DYING SOON? He had to be freaking out, and trying to contact Leliana/The Hero about it?!

It’s entirely possible that he’s hearing the Calling, but the characters in the game keep talking about how “every Warden in Orlais” is hearing it. I don’t know enough about the Calling to really analyze this properly, but, if King Alistair is hearing the false Calling, I’d imagine those around him would be doing everything in their power not to let word get out. No one needs to be reminded that their heirless king is tainted and could theoretically die at any moment. So we didn’t hear about it.
