for amanda / what do they normally dream about? nightmares or nonsense?

Amanda is one of those people who never seem to be able to remember her dreams. Yet she remembers one dream in particular from her adult years. A couple of nights after Justin, her fiance, passed away, she had a dream he came back to her and got to say goodbye. But she had never told anyone about the dream, and to this day, she is not sure if it was just a dream, or a message from beyond that he was okay. I could be, right? Considering she usually don’t remember her dreams.

Amanda, what’s your dream life?

      Sweetie, I stopped dreaming a long time ago. Life is messed up, and the less you dream, the fewer disappointment you're going to get. Trust me, I learned it the hard way.     I used to have a dream life. Justin and I would leave this fallen world behind. We would buy this broken down place outside of town. A house so torn down and broken that no one around wanted it. We wanted it. We would have built it up, piece by piece. Build a home, a family. 

    But like I said.. dreams lead to disappointment, and whatever broken down house were waiting out there... well.. I hope it burned to the ground.
