O Favorito do Demônio
It's amazing to me that Devil's Minion ever manages to get on any of these top ship lists considering there are like ten different ways to tag the ship
Lucifer might have a soulmate?
“You’re telling me that you don’t see that?” Lucifer sighed, pointing to the skyline and rolling his eyes in annoyance.
“I’m telling you that maybe you’ve finally lost your mind.” Amandiel smiled charmingly.
“I’m surrounded by idiots!” Lucifer scoffed, “You’re saying you don’t see that?!” He pointed to the sky. “It’s a fucking beacon to the heavens. And no, I’m not saying it like a metaphor! It’s-”
“How much did you drink last night?” Amandiel chuckled and turned away from the window, looking at Lucifer.
“This isn’t another tequila-induced hallucination!” Lucifer groaned and argued. “I’m telling you! That-” His finger jabbed the air, pointing to the sky, “That’s divine! Or infernal-” He added, looking to the sky again, “Or maybe both-”
Amandiel followed his line of sight and sighed. “Lucifer. There’s nothing there.” All he could see was the sprawling cityscape and skyline and the dusky twilight of the coming night.
“Ugh- Screw you.” Lucifer huffed and grabbed his jacket.
“What? Where are you going?!” Amandiel called out.
“Following the damned light!” Lucifer was already off on his way.
You were on a sightseeing tour of LA. Walking through the streets with awe and currently were sitting at an open-air cafe, enjoying a sweet little drink to cool down from the humid evening.
“Is this seat taken?” A charismatic man smiled down at you.
“No but-” You started, but he was already sitting down. “Rude-” You pouted and started to stand to leave.
“Hey, wait now- Where are you going?” He stood quickly too.
“Look, I have no interest in talking to anyone.” You kept walking, leaving the cafe but he followed behind like a puppy. “Dude-” You turned to him. “Don’t make me pepper spray you!”
“Please do.” He smiled sweetly. “Anything to keep this conversation going.” You gave him a weird look and continued to walk away.
“You follow strangers often?” You asked, without turning.
“Only the ones that glow.” He mused, matching your step and walking beside you.
But his words made you pause. “Glow?” You repeated.
“Like a divine beacon to the heavens.” He sighed, his hands on his chest.
“Okay…” You said slowly, quickening your steps but he kept up with you easily.
“You were at that café for thirteen minutes,” He walked beside you, his voice soft and gentle. “You ordered a lavender lemonade, asked for little ice. You took two photos of your drink. You gave a little girl your napkin when she spilled her drink and her father wasn’t looking and-”
“Oh great. A stalker!” You pulled out your phone.
“Oh! Goodie, are you calling the police?” He smiled brightly. “I haven’t seen my friends in a while.”
Your face fell and you shoved your phone back into your purse, continuing to walk towards your hotel.
“Come on! Don’t walk away.” He whined and kept following. “I know it sounds insane but you really do glow, darling.” His accent getting stronger by the end.
You finally turned to him, your eyes ablaze with a glare. “You keep saying that! What are you actually talking about?!”
“I mean it literally. You are glowing, my love.” He smiled, “Bright and golden, like your soul is lit from the inside.”
“Right.” You stared at him. “You need to be committed.”
“Aww, that’s not very nice, Y/N.” He pouted, crossing his arms.
“H-How do you know my name?” You swallowed, your face falling in panic.
“Really? The name is your line in the sand?” He chuckled and looked at you head to toe. “Well, you’re not an angel.”
“Fuck you, man.” You glared and continued to walk briskly.
“Definitely not a demon.” He hummed, walking calmly. “Too opaque to be a ghost.” You began to disappear into a crowd, “Hey! Wait!” He didn’t need to have you in his sights, he could just follow the beam of light.
You were losing your mind. The man was like Michael Myers level of relentless, and he was just walking but somehow always right behind you.
Whereas Lucifer was full of giddy excitement. He wasn’t sure what you were but he was bursting to find out!
