I love that Amane is now forgiven and thus isn't totally doomed by the audience anymore, it's great, I'm very happy about it. I'm so very happy, I am positively vibrating with joy. I'm so glad she's okay. Like- not to ramble about cycles but like- it has to be a choice. You can't just...do nothing or continue doing it hoping something else will happen that suddenly changes everything, us (the audience) had to make a choice. And the choice made is one that's going to have some possibly really bad consequences! And that's great actually! The audience had to look Amane in the eye and see all the shit she went through and all the stuff we caused her to experience and all the possible harm she could do and go "I forgive you." This goes so hard as a story I'm so normal about it actually.
