Character Relationships

I got really bored and decided to see how some of my characters’ relationships (current or previous or au versions) would look like in this template.

[canon] Kaitlyn x Kyle: briefly were a thing but they figured out they worked better as friends…with benefits. They met when Kaitlyn heard Kyle being abused by his roommate. These two are still very close and Kaitlyn will murder you brutally if you harm her precious ginger.

[semi-canon / AUs] Kaitlyn x Aya: In main canon these two are not “officially” anything other than best friends/closest confidantes…regardless of feelings that may or may not have been there. They are literal soulmates in main canon though (Kaitlyn has a piece of Aya’s soul sealed within her). …..In other realities such as High School, Omegaverse, Dark Angel, Angels and Demons, Mythical Deities, and Animal AUs…they tend to actually be a couple or mates.

[canon] Alan x Aya: Alan is Aya’s canonical first love until he went missing one night. They both met on a farm way before Aya became a Shadow Slayer. At first it was a bit awkward because the two teens were often kept separated by Aya’s parents…then the next bit of awkwardness came to their different religious beliefs as Aya was a Christian and Alan was Pagan. The two would often wait until night to talk in private in the barn and get to know one another. The two shared similar personal beliefs of helping others, that nonhumans/monsters weren’t all bad people, and that evil and good aren’t always clear. Alan helped Aya out of her shell to be more outspoken and extroverted. Aya lost her virginity to Alan. The two had plans of eloping, but Alan was shortly captured and executed as a heretic with Aya being unaware.

[canon] Kaitlyn x Raoul: These rivals have a weird complicated obsessive toxic relationship with one another. They were a thing at one point, but things went south fast when Kaitlyn got pregnant…

[canon] Mike x Kyle: These two met at a pirate themed bar. At this point in time Mike recognized Kyle as a relatively famous fashion model. The soft cuddly Mike and the sassy crossdresser Kyle hit it off well as the two shared their stories of their abuse, feminine interests, and being in the closet. The two were friends for quite a few years before dating seriously as both were nervous of serious relationships due to previous heartaches. …Now the two are sweet loving husbands.

[canon] Maxwell x Amania: Jacob, Ranini,Kaitlyn’s parents. A dark sorcerer and a priestess of light, a taboo relationship. They truly cared for one another and didn’t agree with their parents ideals. A Romeo and Juliet-ish couple…who don’t die together at the end….and who actually LOVED each other rather than pure lust. These two love apples…it was the fruit that brought these two together as it was an excuse for them to meet…and for Maxwell not to starve. They fled away together after having both of their parents to deal with each other and no longer be a threat. ………Maxwell still mourns for Amania.

Kaitlyn's parents: How was she like when she was a baby? Did she cry alot? Was she a biter? Did she giggle alot? What were condition like when she was an infant?

A horned man and his angelic wife were sitting at the dinner table enjoying some apples in a beautiful garden when they suddenly notice a strange figure asking questions.

Maxwell smiles a bit confused to see you, but greets you warmly anyway. “O-oh um hey there stranger. Didn’t expect to see someone here. Are you a friend of our daughter?”

Amania smiles sweetly at such fond memories “She always had the most pure giggles… Almost any little thing could make her smile. A very happy child. She rarely cried as a baby, and when she did cry it was very softly.”

Maxwell let’s out a flat laugh “Yes…Kaitlyn was a little Shadow biter…Always biting my hands and ankles. Even chewing on stuff like tables and stuffed animals.”

((If I misunderstood your last question, sorry. I’ll redo it if I did.))

Amania went quiet “Her….her condition…?” She looked ready to cry

Maxwell pats her shoulder and continues “….Our little sunshine wasn’t born alive… It took a lot of hard work and sacrifices to bring her life. As a result she developed some peculiar abilities and uncontrollable overly powerful magic. She also seemed to have an adverse reaction to light for awhile until her human side adjusted.”

Mother’s Day - Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn smiled as she received hugs and kisses from her many...many children. “Aw, I love you all so much~ You make mommy so happy~” She spends the day with each and every billion of them before waving them goodbye and promising to take them all on a special trip later.

She soon heads off through a portal that led to an empty space. Once the portal closes behind her, her smile faded. She sets her gifts in a special bubble to store it safely forever.

“......” Kaitlyn sat down in the void and curled up to her knees. She stared down at the emptiness of the grey floor numbly. An image slowly faded before her, an image of a happy family. A family that no longer exists.

She kept staring hard at the image before it cracked as her tears fell on the floor. Soon it had vanished and she slowly gets up.

“W-why...” Furniture of a child’s bedroom stared appearing in the once empty void. She grabs a desk, gripping it tightly...letting her claws scrape the wood before-

THUD!

“WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY?! W H YYYYYYYYYY!!!!” She starts throwing chairs and tables around the room, clawing at the walls and floor, generally going berserk on the entire room. She wails and erupts into tears as she continued unleashing her grief onto everything she could get her claws or teeth on. Everything but...

The wolf stops her rampage and breaks down near a single white lily. She delicately touched the petals, careful as to not harm the flower. With a tearful glance she managed to whimper out “.....Happy...Mother’s Day....” The rest of the night she cried over the lily.

So here is a shorten version of the family tree. I may do more with other characters in the future. Also an idea what Maxwell’s cruel father looked like (human and corrupted shadow form). So in case you are wondering where Kaitlyn inherited her CORRUPTED version of shadow form from....

Now ya know.

I have drawn Kaitlyn’s mother, father, grandma WOLFSBANE, and siblings before. I may update their designs later, Wolfsbane’s in particular since she just looked like human Kaitlyn with white hair and wrinkles (unmasked), and her masked ninja design wasn’t really the best either...kinda based it off of Haku from Naruto. Also I really need to draw pre-corrupted Maxwell (aka his human form), corrupted SHADOW Amania, and Amania’s parents sometime.

[Sorry for my old cringy drawings, but here’s a general idea. Believe me, even I have a hard time looking back on them.]
