when she’s feeling too socially anxious, amara enjoys reading outside while everyone else hangs out inside

the twins are so close to graduating and moving out, and though amara isn’t as close to her daughter journey as she’d like to be, she’s not sure if she’s ready for her kids to be all grown up. to distract her from thinking about it, she decides to try and tackle the entrance to the forgotten grotto that her grandmother had told her about when she was a child. she spends all day tearing away at the boards, ignoring calls from zane who is worried about his wife. finally, she makes it inside, and its just as magical as her beloved grandmother bo had described.

journey spends some quality family time on her day off at the local cafe. she’s pleasantly surprised to find that her mother has gone short with her hair yet again. her cousin myra and her aunt anahi join them and are eager to hear how the sport scene is treating journey.

it’s graduation day! beau is already ready to leave for college, and journey has yet to tell her parents about her plans to pursue sports. she’ll tell them eventually, she swears!

after a distress signal leads her off course, amara has to decide to burn through her limited resources, or take a chance and go through a wormhole in hopes of finding help. to her luck and surprise, she finally discovers the planet of sixam! she can’t believe that a mishap has lead her to the planet of her dreams. the sixamians greet her happily and even offer to help get her back home safe and sound.
