I had a great conversation with @MusicisTerry about the state of this country, our people, and being a Black man at this time. The changes among prominent fixtures in our communities and the deaths of our sisters and brothers touched me deeply as I reflected on my own experiences. While highlighting our accomplishments, we also analyzed the fear of rejection, how to overcome it, and how we deal with traumatic experiences like the murder of #AmaudAubery. Many of us suffering from PTSD tend to bottle up emotions, which often comes across as being desensitized. None of us are strangers to the entitlement of White people, and most of us have to deal with it on a daily basis. It's important that we keep having these discussions and highlighting the actions we need to take to make positive changes. #DJZeke #DJZekeTakeover #BlackLivesMatter #BlackMen #IRunwithMaud #BreonnaTaylor #GeorgeFloyd #Justice #CollegeClubKings #IWOWU #IWillOutWorkYou #BlackExcellence (at New York, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBYyNjogx2G/?igshid=8l3hygh0aadu
