“Ahhh!” Mutsuki jumped a bit, surprised by the suggestion. He curled up tight, rocking away to build the momentum to rock back into Sasaki and bump their shoulders together. A small giggle left his mouth and he buried his face in his knees. 

“Shirazu said--” More giggles, his pink face still hidden and voice a bit muffled, “--said you’d never notice. Y’love books so much. He said I could sit right next to you and you wouldn’t notice.” He lifted his face just enough to peek up at his mentor, “Mmm...Sensei, you just lost me five doooollars. Or wait--” He froze, eyes widening, “Can’t remember who bet what...” 

With a small huff, he leaned against the older man, “Sorry for bothering you.”
