thats a good point but i feel like including mercerism in the same way of the book wouldve significantly complexified the film especially since if rick could fuse we’d know from the start hes human and then theyd lose that whole thing

explain the part where making the film more complex would be a bad thing?? cmon they could easily find a way to insert it without messing up the rest of the film, it wouldn't be hard
