At this point am I living or just waiting for more Jordan Li fics to drop? Idek, like, I long for the time when I'll not be able to keep up with their x reader tag.
NO SPOILERS!!
Just completed the 3 episodes of Gen V and I have to say, it's not what I expected. It's soooo much MORE AND BETTER.
The thing I love most about The Boys is that every character has their own story, they have their own struggles, their own issues, their own coping mechanisms, their own storyline, nobody is a secondary or a plot maker. And I'm happy that Gen V has been able to do it too. The characters are so much more than what they appear to be, they have their own battles, their own beauty.
Don't have an absolute favorite currently, but I'm loving Jordan Li. The transition is absolutely beautiful to watch. And Emma, oh she's so cute. (Have a feeling they are gonna be fan favs).
I'm extremely happy that Gen V delivered. I was scared that a college kid show is gonna ruin the essence of The Boys, but damn was I wrong!! And I'm happy that I was proven wrong.
Can't wait for the next episodes.
Will say Luke did not deserve all the bullshit he got from his family, Vought, Brink, Cate and Andre.
My dude had nobody who ever did right by him and he never even got to see his brother, he never got to be a hero, and he never got to meet somebody who would have been a genuine friend to him.
Like my boy deserved better and it hurts me that he will never get it.
I dont even believe Cate actually was in love with Luke i bet Shetty set her up to date Luke bcuz Brink already had been mentoring him for years which confuses me.
What I like about Gen V, especially about the main team, is that yes they're all fucked up in some sort of way and they've done wrong so many times before and they still do it from time to time even now. But Andre, Marie, Cate and Jordan are all trying to get better because they love each other and they want to protect not hurt each other. They genuinely want to be good people not only for themselves but for their friends, for the family they chose, for the only people in the world who understand them and still love them.
so has it been confirmed that chance has been recasted because he’s not out there promoting gen v with the cast lol
the last gen v episode better be an hour long
