Amazoness isn't an archetype that became popular in competitive play, yet being a fan favorite keeps gaining new options since their debut many years ago. Despite their below average stats, Amazoness governs the Battle Phase with a variety of effects to always have the upper hand against the toughest enemies. Gradually getting stronger with further options including staple Warrior-Type options and Fusion Summons, Amazoness shouldn't be underestimated despite lacking the same exploding results as more popular themes and Decks.
"Amazoness Princess" provides a variety of effects on her own capable to lead the archetype as soon she appears on the field. By default "Princess" is treated as "Amazoness Queen" while on the field or on our Graveyard, an effect that becomes a very important factor for some of their most important summons as the Duel progresses. Once per turn an "Amazoness Princess" is summoned, in return we can search any Amazoness Spell or Trap inside our Deck to be added on our hand, overall giving us full liberty of many of their key cards to prepare their board immediately. Last and like many Amazoness "Princess" carries a battle related effect, as once she declares and attack we can send a card in our hand to the Graveyard to summon an Amazoness from our Deck (Excluding copies of herself). In resume, with three abilities assisting the entire archetype on her own, "Princess" clearly stands out as the the core card to move the entire archetype with her searching effects and the ability to become "Amazoness Queen".
Although "Princess" cannot summon her own copies during battle, still obtains assistance enough to become available as soon as possible. "Princess" might not bring her copies but can search for cards like "Amazoness Call" and "Amazoness Village", Spell Cards allowing us to search for "Princess" under their respective conditions. Otherwise will be obtainable by the classic "Reinforcement of the Army", a card that truly helped the archetype from the first years due the low Levels of most of their Amazoness. As the Duel progresses, the Trap "Amazoness Onslaught" not only will give us an upper hand in battles but is also able to summon "Princess" from our hand or Graveyard depending of the situation. Last is the fact that "Amazoness Princess" is treated as "Amazoness Queen", as becomes a valid candidate for "Amazoness Empress" revival effect once defeated. Finally we can take some risks with cards like "Call of the Haunted" and "Amazoness Willpower", constantly reviving "Princess" to gain archetype cards in return even during the opponent's turn (As long we don't chain their activation where we might miss her effect's timing).
With three effects assisting the archetype in several aspects of a Duel, soon enough "Princess" will be quite busy providing her services from early to late game. Her mere summon will give us any Amazoness Trap or Spell in return, ranging from leading cards like "Amazoness Village" and "Amazoness Onslaught" improving our battles to obtaining more Amazoness by "Amazoness Call". Being treated as "Amazoness Queen" not only makes her a target of "Amazoness Empress" revival effect but also the core material for her Fusion Summon, so once "Princess" has finished her purpose we can follow with "Polymerization" to bring one of the strongest monsters the archetype can offer. Her battle effect might bring Amazoness in Defense Position, but is still an infalible ability as can bring either powerful members like the original "Amazoness Queen", to any Amazoness ready to prepare a bigger summon during our Main Phase 2. Due the low stats of "Princess" she might not survive on her own while activating this last effect, so try to have a card like "Amazoness Onslaught" ready to confront any tough enemies with her attacks.
Although the archetype still suffers of some little flaws to reach the competitive scene, is cards like "Amazoness Princess" that keeps them on the spotlight since their arrival decades ago. "Princess" might a weakling that relies on the archetype's most important cards to have a chance to shine in battles, yet her three effects perfectly assists the entire Deck no matter the scenario and resources available. Treated as "Amazoness Queen" makes her either material or revival target of "Amazoness Empress", searching any Amazoness Spell or Trap will setup the best plays of the whole build immediately, and summoning Amazoness from the Deck furhter improves our field pressence. Like many Amazoness "Princess" is not a card to remain alone on the field, but with her effects bringing their key cards she'll go from a searching role to strengthening the board either arround a Fusion Monster or her own attacks.
+ Treated as "Amazoness Queen" while on the field or the Graveyard
+ Searches an Amazoness Spell or Trap Card when summoned
+ Summons an Amazoness in our Deck when attacking
+ Helps most of the archetype's setups including the summon and effects of "Amazoness Empress"
- Poor stats to survive alone and/or without supporting effects
