wants to wave away the worry / has been through far worse. the long pale scar that cuts through the amazon’s collarbone is a testament to that. but she aches ; in an uncomfortable and familiar way that diana will not deny is a problem. can feel it all the way down to her bones. which is why she lies on the bed ; layers of armour discarded ; the ichor that stains her sword and shield evident of the fight she has just been through.
diana does muster up the strength to turn such a mighty head in lillian’s direction , at least diana hadn’t gotten the sheets dirty ( this time ) arm outstretched ; she searches for lillian’s hand ; a weary / apologetic smile forming on her lips. had stumbled in without word in the very early hours of the morning. too drained to think about the time / surprising she managed to fly back at all. ❛ morning. ❜ a very loose definition of the greeting since the sun has yet the rise or even tease the horizon.
