May I ask to hear more of your thoughts on Knock out and First aid being unlikely buds?👀 as a first aid fanthey I can’t help myself lol

Now I'm drawing off of idwg1 First Aid's personality after the Tyrest arc here, because I'm really here for 𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝓪𝓲𝓭 but!!! Also, Knockout's personality after the TFP epilogue for ex-decepticon current autobot shenanigans

(mnnnn unless that's temporary, and Knockout actually ends up floating closer to neutral after the war) (after all, the war IS over and we never *saw* him take the autobot badge...) (Hell he didn't have the official decepticon badge either didn't he? Or if he did, it wasn't in an obvious place)

I think Knockout and First Aid could have some things to bond over, some being more wholesome than others, some being more angsty than others... Ohhh there's fun possibilities imo

Though in my mind I'm working with a bit more of a blend continuity here

I think they should become coworkers who share interests and genuinely grow to get along

Thinking about medics like Ratchet or Pharma. They're on their shift and can feel it coming. They're doctors. They know every sign and symptom of the onset of a heat cycle. But they don't have time for this. It's a busy shift. Maybe there's an emergency surgery. They can feel the heat and charge starting to build in their circuits as they run across corridors to the operating theatre. The exertion usually wouldn't make their energon pump that hard. But what's important is that the heat hasn't set in yet. They have time. They have to have time.

Maybe it hits mid surgery. Suddenly their frames flush with heat and their joints feel like jelly and reflexively want to buckle. But they can't. They push on, servos deep in another mech. The nurses know. They can smell it. But no one acknowledges it.

By the time the surgery is over, they have enough forced dignity to walk out of the operating theatre, to wash and sanitise themselves... and then they collapse. Crumpling to their knees, gasping and clutching at their overheated plating. Ignoring their heat just for those few short hours makes their frame ache and burn.

NOOOO BECAUSE I CAN IMAGINE THIS SO WELL WITH EITHER OF THEM

I see an opportunity here for a First Aid x Pharma x Ambulon sandwich

Though I see plenty of other opportunities too
