I haven’t put this cosplay on for a year. The first (and last) time I wore it, I was not feeling great about myself for a lot of reasons; body image, personal life struggles, not supporting myself emotionally/mentally, etc.

A year focusing on myself physically and mentally has done wonders to improve how I feel inside and outside of cosplay. It’s still been awhile since I’ve worn a superhero suit, I’m still a LITTLE self conscious, but overall my feelings are 100% more positive than they were before; and that’s huge for me.
