FRIEEEEEEEEEEEND!!!!
@amberandstuff i've had a lot of success so far with putting a layer of activated charcoal at the bottom of containers like teacups and mugs!! like the kind you use for aquariums. it gives a bit of drainage and is antimicrobial @carrotquill i had the same thought! that or one of those pretty pink/purple succulents
#inktober Oct 16, for @amberandstuff on her birthday, a party #rat! http://ift.tt/2evYZ3c
4,8 & 12!
4: Worst game you’ve ever played
It’s hard to quantify “badness” objectively, so I’m going to go with the biggest disappointment I’ve had in gaming: Paper Mario Sticker Star. It’s not actually that bad of a game, but it’s the one that actually let me down the most. Sure, it’s better than 100% garbage games (which i have played) but I went into it expecting Paper Mario.
8: Best Soundtrack
This one’s hard! Wind Waker, Chrono Trigger, Pokémon BW2, Pokémon Stadium, and Smash (Melee, Brawl, Wii U) are all contenders. I think the edge is going to have to go to Brawl, because of how long I spent listening to its tracks before the game even came out in the US. Plus, I get to cheat by essentially choosing a compilation album.
12: Shortest time you’ve beaten a game in?
Hm. Probably the many times I’ve run through Kirby 64 in an afternoon. Though I have marathoned games much longer than that and gotten them done in a weekend.

what are ya getting?!
This sketch by Amy Sol ^^
I'm picking random numbers because Im on mobile and it's hard to go back and forth but that question thing is sO GOOD here it goes: 3, 8, 14, 27
3: A song that reminds you of summertime?
mostly because of the line in the chorus “We played hide and seek in waterfalls, we were younger” that line just reminds me of like, playing in a forest as a kid during the summer holidays when you were free and careless.
8: A song about drugs or alcohol?
So while not necessarily about drugs, this song is pretty surrealist so it’s open to interpretation anyway, and I’ve always seen the lyrics “How does it feel?” and “I can’t seem to see through solid marble eyes” gave kind of the feeling someone would have on an intense high, plus the super grungey “shitty speakers” fuzz over the song gives it that hazy feel that comes with being high.
14: A song that you would love played at your wedding?
Just. Fucking. Because.
27: A song that breaks your heart?
Okay so before I post the video, this answer is a tie for two songs, both of which(like the first two songs on this post) are from the Life is Strange soundtrack.
So, Crosses gets to me for 2 reasons, 1, Jose Gonzalez just gets to me, and 2, this is Kate Marsh’s song, like in every possible way it can be thought of, it’s her song, it describes her and Max perfectly and it’s so fitting for Kate in LiS, and every time I think of Kate, I get so upset because I’ve been there before, under different circumstances, but I’ve been there.
Santa Monica Dream is a song about moving on after a terrible break up, again, it’s the context of the song in Life is Strange that makes this a heartbreaker. The song plays in the game immediately after you talk to Chloe about Rachel Amber. It’s obvious the two were close, probably even romantic, and when she disappeared without a trace, Chloe obviously felt betrayed, just like when Max left. The lines “I’m somewhere, you’re somewhere/I’m nowhere, you’re nowhere/You’re Somewhere, You’re Somewhere/I could go there but I don’t.”
I’m sorry that most of these songs were from the LiS soundtrack, but I’ve been hella into those 12 songs for the past few months
THANK YOU FOR ASKING AND IM SORRY THIS WAS SO LONG
