QUESTIONS
1. What movie (or part of a movie) always makes you want to cry?
There's not really any movie that will make me cry without fail. It's more of the mood I'm in.
2. Favorite Superhero and why?
Wiccan from Young Avengers. I don't know, he's a really interesting character and pretty damn relatable. Plus he can do some kick ass magic.
3. What drives you?
Fear mostly. I honestly wish this wasn't the answer, but it is. Fear of not being good enough, fear of not accomplishing anything, fear of not living up to my potential.
4. What is a moment that you’ll never forget?
Two things: The moment I walked into my first anime convention and my whole nerd world got bigger. The time I got on the train to NYC with my purse, a duffle bag and no secured place to live for the upcoming month. Words can't describe what that felt like.
5. Do you have an ultimate comfort food?
Ribs, fall-off-the-bone, coated in sauce. Is that super disgusting? It probably is.
6. If money were no object for one day, what would you do?
Just for one day? I'd buy a condo. Seriously, I know that's totally lame, but not having somewhere to live/not being able to afford it is one of my biggest fears, I'd be willing to spend the whole day working out the paperwork if I had to.
7. Do you have an ideal version of the far future? If so what is it?
My far future or the far future? First off, acceptance and understanding of other people and their choices. In the future I'd really like for it to not fear for your life or your freedoms because of how you were born. I'd like us to be the kind of society that aliens want to get to know.
8. What object holds the strongest memory for you?
I have a ring that my great-great grandpa made. Obviously, I've never met him, I don't think I've ever even seen a picture of him, but I always feel a lot more centered when I'm wearing it. I'm not sure that answers the question, but it's all I've got.
9. What do you dream about?
Like my actual dreams? They're mostly anxiety driven chaos. But I daydream about getting to a stable enough place where I don't regret past choices.
10. If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
New York City. It's where I've wanted to live for as long as I can remember.
