I spent my evening last night hunting a snapping turtle. Because I absolutely love snappers and need to have one roaming/guarding my fish room.

Guys, meet Boulder.

I figured before he lives out the rest of his days in the fish room I’d take him out for a nice midnight stroll around the island.

 Not that he hasn’t seen it, he’s lived here longer than I have, but I wanna show him that all the new changes to his home aren’t scary.

Like the park! I think he liked the sandbox especially. I was gonna put him on the slide but I didn’t wanna freak him out right away.

We headed over to grab some snacks cuz I didn’t know when he’d last eaten (aside from the bait off my hook. Yeah sorry about that big guy.)

Ok, back to safety. Probably too much sugar in those snacks, he’s gettin pretty adventurous.

He found Mac’s doghouse and I think he wants a little home of his own.

Sorry Boulder, we’ll have to go shopping tomorrow.

I took the boy up for a nice relaxing bath before we headed home for the night.

Welcome home Boulder!

I think he made a friend already.

Alright big guy, you can sleep in here tonight if you want.
