how do you make friends at a university? most universities (including the one im going to next year) have like 100+ kids in a class it seems like it would be hard to make friends

so my university had a nice huge orientation week, and a lot of universities will generally have orientations for uni freshmen so it’s a good time to get to know people.

in general though i would say get involved across campus! join clubs you’re interested in so you can meet people with the same kind of interests as you. talk to people next to you in your class, about the homework, the weather, just about anything at all. hell, i met most of my friends before university by joining the facebook group made for “future frosh” at the university i’m at! i’d recommend being in any group chats you can if there are within facebook or w/e social media you’re using– even when they go crazy (believe me, the notification count will explode) you’ll find people you’d want to talk to more in PMs and such. (this of course is at your discretion and whether or not you’re comfortable with any of these suggestions)

mind you, my university is also known for not having a social scene in terms of “partying” and whatnot, but either way, it’s a good time to break out and be social with a lot of people. a lot of people are in the same boat as you anyways because they too are moving into a whole new bigger place. [cue “we’re all in this together” in the background]

Good post about the BLM movement's point of view. BLM and Bernie should have a PEACEFUL discussion together, and trust me, he WILL talk to you about this issue cooperatively if you give him the chance. Especially if it is a one-on-one meeting where there is minimal interruption.

I’m sure, I just don’t know why he needs to be such a grump about being interrupted.
