#ambient dark

So it's Steam's next festival again. 7 days were you can try out lots of game demo's. And again I downloaded some demo's to try out. And here is my review of them.

Ambient Dark

So for this one I hadn't read the discription. I just saw a game that looked pretty. I walked around in the game a bit and was like is this it? Yeh well so when I closed the game I found out it's just a small game to listen to ambient dark music.

7th Floor

A horror shooter. Sounds nice. But only if you can actually get through the beginning of the game. I was locked in a hospital room and needed to leave that room. But it asked for a keycode and I was like??? I looked around everywhere but no keycode to be found so I quit.

Ayasa Shadows Of Silence

The intro for this after I started the game? I had a WTF is this moment. Anyways it kind of looked like Little Nightmares. I had trouble using the controls so right in the beginning I kept on dying and then had enough of it already. Which is a shame because it looked like something I would have played the full demo off.

Blackshard

BLACKSHARD is a first-person exploration game. Wander through a strange megastructure, the Labyrinth, to unravel its mysteries… Your behavior within the Labyrinth will define the outcome of your journey. What path will you choose to take?

This game is something I never played before. I was really intrigued with the demo. unfortunately it lagged with me so no way I could ever play the full game. What a shame.

Chorus Of Carcosa

I really have no patience do I? Let me start by saying that this game comes with a huge long warning. So many possible triggers are being mentioned here.

Anyways I kept on dying in the beginning and then had enough of it already just like with Ayasa. The graphics for the small part I played did look good tho.

Dreadcore: Locked Unit

This demo didn't like. It would start but if I then hit new game all I would get was a black screen. Had to try a couple times for it to work. Did like the demo once it worked but when I saw my framerate at the top left I was like :( So guess this won't be a game I can play.

Haunted Bloodlines

The last one. So the idea of this pretty nice. Like you need to be in the light or else you will turn up insane. Kinda reminds me of Amnesia: The Dark Decent which is one of my favorite horror games of all times. However what I don't like here is that in the beginning I kept on going in a loop in the hallway with everytime something else happening. I don't care I get bored at that moment. So I quited the demo.

Well this means that everything here is a no since the only demo I did like is not something I can play properly because omy video card isn't good enough.
