You ever beef so hard with your super nice cousin that he can’t even look you in the eye because you annoy him so much?
Anyways, this is Mimsy Spellcraft and his cousin, Headmage Ambrose LXIII. Every time they come across each other at Spelldrive tournaments and other such activities where RSA and NRC intersect they get into heated arguments and occasionally take it outside to duel their frustrations away.
Mimsy is a half-human half-shapeshifter kid with identity issues who bases a lot of his personality on the concept of “chaotic neutral” and the daredevil archetype. He’s based on Madam Mim, so he has a cruel streak a mile wide and such a vicious rivalry with Ambrose (who’s based on Merlin) that family functions are mandated to have wide-open fields nearby just in case.
The two of them fundamentally disagree on literally everything you can think of to the point where, on Mimsy’s end, it’s on purpose. He’s a ragebaiter and a very, very skilled one. Someone get him out of NRC before Crewel decides he doesn’t care about decorum and physically fights a student. This is very fun to draw and I’m super excited to finish it!
