We love the LBD because it created the fandom and friendships that resulted in things like #KaKel and #AmeGi, llama!DVG, and so much more...

And while I don't truly understand all of the things that the fandom has generated, I do know that fandom in-jokes, obsessive shipping (of characters, fans, or combinations of the two), and forming close and lasting friendships with other fans (often when you've never met IRL) are things that happen when you've got a very enthusiastic, dedicated fandom.  And something superawesomefantastic like the Lizzie Bennet Diaries definitely generates enthusiastic & dedicated fans.

Opinion on Amegi?

it is awesome and totes adorbs and you should ship it because both gigi and amelia are totes adorbs and they belong together obvs and also i made up the ship name so that is awesome as well.

amegi got started when gigi changed her profile picture to the photo of her with a bauble. i already really loved her, but as soon as we saw allison’s eyes and how freaking beautiful they were, and her amazing eyebrows, it became apparant that i was obsessed. i wouldnt shut up about her and eventually friend lucy came up with the name amegi.
