Amend.

As you might remember I recently watched Amend on Netflix, Will Smith’s documentary about America’s 14th Amendment and its repercussions (together with the deeply rooted white straight male dominance) on the history and rights of African-Americans, women, lgbtqia community and immigrants. There are lots of other American stars (like Randall Park, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Mahershala Ali, Daveed Diggs, Bobby Cannavale, Pedro Pascal, Laverne Cox, Helen Hunt, Samuel L. Jackson and Samira Wiley) speaking too, plus several historians and judges. I’m not American, but all those words and events really resonated and got me thinking about people behave and related towards those who are different from them. Following a drawing that came naturally while watching it I decided to do 4 pieces about it, one for each group of people. I hope you like them.
