I just listened to Your Biggest Fan and - holy shit. I feel genuinely sick. I think this season is going to hit me harder than I thought it would. Really did not anticipate getting very suddenly emotional over a song from this season, but that means everyone working on the music did their job phenomenally.
Would you say that the other songs might have that same emotional response? If so, I'll definitely have to prepare myself more than I anticipated for this next season, haha

Almost all the songs this season have an emotional impact close to this, yes.
In this specific case it is this... setup, which really makes you uncomfortable, and then... and I said this before, then it shows the full ... turning.
But the song after then provides a catharsis... a catharsis that makes me cry every. damn. time.
There are other songs that impacted me that deeply, yes. Not all made me cry. Some did though.
This season does not pull the punches, and Sam's voice... like.. the show is threaded through with music and other things and Sam's voice is always there, and you know how good he is, right, and... just imagine this ... "guidance" pulling you through everything.
I cannot recommend enough to prepare oneself :) I mean, it will be bit by bit, episode by episode on the weekly, so we (all) will have some time to digest.
But that time is also sorely needed at times. Imho.
